Rebuilding the E71
I’ve been running on old Firmware for to long so on a whim I upgraded and reformated my 8GB microSDHC, after a backup. Now I’ll try to figure out exaclty what I want on the device. Booting is always fast after a hard reset so I’m not sure if the new FW is actually any better. I was sick of the battery going flat after 6 hours so here we are.
It’s a shame S60 never sanctioned a mass installer. I know exist but I feel this should be a provisioning issue and no PC suite is not a proper enterprise tool.
Tonight I’ll check everything I bought on Handango, Nokia Software Market and SymbianGear. Luckily I have a few old posts at blogspot to help jog my memory.
